It was an interesting Sunday evening, to say the least. In response to some recent changes at The Pointe, I have stepped in as Interim youth leader to give us some time to identify the right person for this role moving forward.
15 kids last night, plus William of course, so it was a great restart. We had a scavenger hunt, then each of the kids made their own personal pan pizza. We cooked them during the message time, then ate pizza until we were stuffed. Had a message on putting together the "perfect" pizza, comparing the ingredients on a pizza to the "ingredients" that make up a Christian and the impact that even one small "ingredient" can have on your pizza. Spray a little motor oil on it and you ruin the whole pizza. Sin does the same thing...it makes people look at Christians very differently.
The evening was great overall. Cinda was a tremendous help in keeping things flowing. Tab Stone helped in the kitchen, as well.
